1950-1970

A child of the 50ies

The hair styling at Sigi Renner Friseure has always been skill plus Zeitgeist. “Salon Renner” was founded in 1954 at Rossmarkt 6 by Michael and Margret Renner. The salon was a chic child of the fifties. It promised well-kept ambience, elegance, fashion and mysterious impressions for stylish hairstyles.

The 70ies

In 1970 the salon was renovated, enlarged and modernized.

1980-1987

The second generation takes over the Renner Haarstudio

In 1981 Sigi Renner joined the family business as managing director. He had learned from World Champion Kurt Schrepfer and his education was accompanied by numerous competitive successes. In 1987, the house and the business are owned by Sigi and Irmi Renner, who completely renovated the house and gave the company its own signature and style. The salon becomes a studio: workshop and experiment, trends and ideas, quality and timeliness.

1988-2003

One brand – two locations

“Renner Haarstudio” is a well-known brand in Amberg. Exceptional hairstyles, eye-catching marketing, photo shoots and many more. And also internationally: Prét a portér in Paris, fotoshootings in Mailand, presence in fashion magazines, Colour Trophy, national and international awards. Furthermore a  branch is added in the Sebastian Passage in 1998: Renner Haarstudio becomes Renner Haarstudios.

2004-2010

I create my image – my hairdresser creates my style!

The 50th anniversary in 2004 is reason enough to reinvent the main location. The new philosophy of Sigi and Irmi Renner is innovative, urban and individual. Even the name has changed: Sigi Renner Friseure. With 20 employees, the Renners present a creative team that fulfills customer’s wishes and dreams.

If you don’t go forward, you go backwards – we invest in our development

The brand SRF is constantly being developed. In addition, the third generation is becoming a part of the family business. Since 2014, Gina Renner, the eldest daughter of Sigi and Irmi Renner, is now officially a part of the SRF team. After having gained national and international experience, she is now responsible for organisation and marketing. In 2016 Nadja Renner, 2nd daughter returned to the family business after her long national and international education. She is responsible for the creative management, training and education of the trainees, as well as for the internal development of the whole team. Thus, the SRF team looks broadly into the future.
